Mindfulness practice circles and exploration labs
Want to start meditating but don't know how to begin? Still unsure what all this mindfulness and meditation stuff is really about? I give individuals, groups, and companies accessible frameworks for understanding and practicing meditation and mindfulness. My aim is to connect each person with a way of practicing that resonates and becomes integrated into their daily lives. I’m passionate about cultivating wellness as a skill and believe mindfulness is a key ingredient.
Curriculum design and program development
I have over 20 years of experience helping corporations, non-profits, and universities design, implement, and evaluate learning programs and experiences. I partner with you to identify learning outcomes and ensure your programs are scoped appropriately, are learner-centric, and have real impact (...as well as being fun and enjoyable!).
Facilitation and interviewing
Whether it’s a meeting, offsite, event, panel discussion or interview, I am skilled at the art of facilitating thoughtful communication. Trained in design-thinking, participatory decision-making techniques, and social science research, I have a knack for making people feel comfortable, heard, and open to dialogue. I draw out critical insights, help participants reflect and make connections, and synthesize discourse.
Grief support, exploration, and dialogue
Loss is a transformative journey. Trained and influenced by work of the Zen Caregiving Project, I facilitate conversations around the themes of loss, grief, death, and dying to help individuals and groups become more intimately in touch with their experiences. These conversations bring the discussion about loss into the open, where in supportive spaces we explore questions such as what our own and our culture’s relationship with dying and other large loss events is, what we feel like we know and what we want to leave to mystery, and what gifts have manifested in our lives from of our experiences of loss.
